Table Game of The Knight in the Panther's Skin

On December 22, to commemorate 850th anniversary of great Georgian poet, Shota Rustaveli, the Caucasus University will hold Table Game of The Knight in the Panther's Skin created by a young Georgian scientist.

 

The project is implemented by "Orbeliani Georgia" with the financial support of the Swedish Embassy and the Foundation "Iavana", which provides money for the winners. It is a team game in which any CU student can participate.

 

12 teams each consisting of two students will participate in the tournament.

 

Rules of the game:

First level – What? When? Where? Game on the Knight in the Panther's Skin (Duration - 40 minutes)

Second level - "Puzzle-Lotto of Aphorisms” (Duration - 40 minutes)

The third level will be held in two parts:

The first part involves a table game of the KPS. The map represents the geographical world of the KPS and its plot. The game is played with dice and characters’ movement.

 

Three teams will participate in the second part to play on one map and to consequently win the first, the second and the third places.

 

The winner teams will be awarded:

First place - 500 GEL voucher;

Second place - 300 GEL voucher;

The third place - 200 GEL voucher.

 

All the three winner teams will be awarded the first edition of the table game - "The Knight in the Panther's Skin". All the participating teams will be awarded calendars and certificates of "The Knight in the Panther's Skin Game". The moderator of the contest is the author of the game Levan Gelashvili. Students will be assisted by members of the organizational group, instructors of the Caucasus University: Natia Putkaradze, Nikoloz Shamugia, Khatia Jangavadze and Zurab Baratashvili.

 

The game will be held at 3.00 p.m. in auditorium B26.
