Students’ Science Conference – Prospects of European Integration of Georgia

On November 18, 2016 Students’ Science Conference on Prospects of the European Integration of Georgia was held at the hotel Bomond Garden Tbilisi; the Conference facilitated by Friedrich Ebert Foundation was organized by Caucasus University, Eastern European University, Georgian Institute of Public Affairs and Tbilisi European Youth Center.  

 

The participants were Master’s and PhD degree students of Faculties of Law, Economics, Business Administration, Public Governance and Social Sciences of the Universities of Georgia. 

 

Speeches were made by the head of the Coordinating Bureau of Friedrich-Ebert Foundation South Caucasus Office, Iulia Blezius (Conference coordinator), by vice-president in Science of Caucasus University, Shalva Machavariani, by Rector of the Eastern European University, Davit Cherkezishvili, by coordinator of PhD Programs of Georgian Institute of Public Affairs (GIPA), Natia Chighvaria and by the Dean of the Law Faculty of Tbilisi State University, Irakli Burduli.     

 

The conference participants were evaluated by experts Temur Maisuradze and Shalva Kvinikhidze. 

 

A collection of the students’ works full of innovative ideas presented at the conference was published. 

 

At the end of the conference participants were awarded certificates.
