Dean of Caucasus School of Governance visited Dublin as part of an Erasmus+ academic mobility

Dr. Eka Akobia, Dean and professor from the Caucasus School of Governance visited Dublin as part of an Erasmus+ academic mobility, hosted by the Dublin City University (DCU) School of Law and Government (April 8-15).

 

Dr. Akobia was invited to give lectures in Dr. Alex Baturo’s Post-Soviet and Russian Politics BA level class as well as lectured in Dr. Donnacha Ó Beacháin (Associate Professor of Politics) Post-Soviet Politics class on such topics as South Caucasus, Georgia-Russia conflict and the wider European and Global political context, followed by lively engagement from students. She also held a research seminar with DCU Law and Government PHD students, interested in the region.

 

 

As part of the mobility she met with professors and administration from the DCU School of Law and Government and discussed the prospects of future academic cooperation between CU and DCU.
