Conference: "Architecture without Barriers - Education, Inclusion, Urban Development".

On December 9, the conference hall of Caucasus University will host the International Conference "Architecture Without Barriers - Education, Inclusion, Urban Development" organized by the Caucasus School of Technology, the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and the construction and development company Archi Group.

The conference will address issues such as:

  • Realities and challenges for people with disabilities in today's urban environment
  • Issues of urban infrastructure and the need to adapt buildings
  • Architectural-planning norms related to accessible spaces
  • "National Standards of Accessibility" and its positive impact on the issues of spatial planning in Georgia
  • The importance of including planning rules and standards for people with disabilities in university curricula.

Representatives of the Parliament of Georgia, state bodies related to the construction sector, the United Nations Development Program, Caucasus University, foreign and architects of various fields will deliver speeches at the conference.
