Photo-club Phos Graphe (brush of light)
Phos – light “graphe” – brush (or “brush of lights) as a photo taken with a photo camera.
Before setting up the club we had been thinking of creating something new and different, non-existent at Caucasus University. We – the freshmen - decided we wanted something that would enable us to make our student life more memorable; with this aim we set up a photographic club which will allow us to put all the processes, activities, events of various kinds in a single frame.
The club is entertaining, friendly and most importantly full of ideas. It has many goals in order to improve and make the students’ life more creative. We want to discover hidden photographic talent in students and reveal the photographic world to them. We are planning to conduct many encouraging projects and interesting and useful activities to stir interests in both the students and their professors. Each member of the club will be happier if more people are fascinated with photography and more members join our Phos Graphe.

As Woody Allen says: “all I have in life is my imagination”.
What are movies if not comprehending important aspects of others’ and our lives? Human’s life is full of vicissitudes which can be overcome by arts.
The aim of the club’s founders was creating a platform at the University where students can relax and develop their imagination and get to know Georgian and foreign cinematography and; the Club will unite the youth with similar and different interests.
Why should you join the Cinema Club? Together with students we will choose different movies depending on their directors, themes, actuality and students’ demand. After watching each movie, we can discuss it and share our opinions and view with one another. We will discuss and debate a lot because the truth is born in the debates.
