IAUP Interational Conference Gala Dinner - Georgan Evening

On July 7, Hofburg Palace played host to a reception – “Georgian Evening” held for the Conference participants and representatives of Georgian and Austrian governments.  

 

The attending audience was addressed by the Vice Prime Minister of Georgia, the Minister of Education and Science, Mr. Alexander Jejelava who spoke about the Georgian educational system and introduced the audience to the program “Study in Georgia” and to the opportunities envisaged by the program with the view of education internalization.

 

Dance Company of the University of Georgia performed Georgian dances to promote Georgian culture. The guests sampled Georgian wines and saw photo and video materials on Georgia’s tourist potential.

 

The Georgian participants were given an opportunity to establish new contacts and discuss prospects of starting exchange programs with foreign universities.
