Caucasus University has reached another important milestone: within the framework of its partnership with the Cervantes Institute, a DELE Examination Center has officially opened on campus.

On January 15-16, Caucasus University hosted a two-day workshop within the framework of the European Commission–funded project - Responsible Conduct of Research – Research Integrity and Ethics in Georgian Universities (ETHICS). The meeting focused on the development of a science communication strategy and was co-organized by Ilia State University and Caucasus University.

Students of the Master’s programs at the Caucasus School of Business successfully defended their theses before the examination committee. The research projects addressed a broad range of contemporary topics in business and economics, demonstrating strong analytical depth and practical relevance.

The findings of a research study conducted at Caucasus University, entitled “Introduction of the Diagnosis-Related Groups (DRG) Financing Method in Georgia and Its Impact on the Efficiency of Medical Services,” have been published in the international peer-reviewed journal Economics and Business.

On January 12, Caucasus University hosted the presentation of the first commentary handbook on the Juvenile Justice Code.

An awards ceremony honoring scientists who achieved the best results in scientific research activity during the 2024–2025 academic year was held on December 28.

The grant competition aims to provide Caucasus University academic personnel with the opportunity to conduct fundamental, applied, and teaching-learning development-related research. Additionally, this competition should promote the engagement of the best Master's/Doctoral level students in scientific activities.

As part of the Sustainable Tourism Development course, students of the Hospitality Management Program at Caucasus University paid a study visit to Afisha Hotel.

Computer Science 3-year double degree undergraduate program, jointly implemented by Caucasus University and Fairleigh Dickinson University, has received unconditional 7-year accreditation. 

On December 26, the Logic Games League held its award ceremony, during which the teams that achieved prize-winning positions were presented with educational vouchers in recognition of their outstanding performance.

On December 22, Startup Incubator 2025 Demo Day was held at the Tbilisi Techpark, marking the final event of the program and bringing together selected startups from across the country, investors, mentors, and key representatives of the innovation ecosystem.

On December 20, a competition - Logic Games League - was held at Caucasus University.

On December 24-25, the Department of International Relations held orientation meetings for students participating in university exchange programs.

The second funded project, “Health Insurance Incentives for Disease Prevention: Opportunities and Barriers,” is authored by Magda Tsnobiladze, a Master’s student at Caucasus University, under supervision of Professor Tengiz Verulava.

Caucasus University has been awarded funding for two master’s-level research projects under the Master’s Educational–Research Projects Grant Competition announced by the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation. Both initiatives were selected among 44 projects funded nationwide.

An auditorium honoring Otar Chedia, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences and Professor, was officially inaugurated at Caucasus University.

A public lecture was held at the Caucasus School of Medicine, dedicated to an international research project examining parental attitudes toward vaccines in Georgia and India. The lecture presented the project’s objectives, methodology, and key findings achieved to date.

As part of their academic curriculum, students of the Tourism School at Caucasus University participated in an educational visit to the tourism company Mimino Caucasia, where their final practical training session took place.

On December 23, a solo concert featuring the Latin American Dance Club alongside the Choreographic and Folklore Ensembles took place at Caucasus University.

On December 23, as part of their academic program, students of the Tourism School paid an educational visit to the Tbilisi Wine Museum, located in a historic caravanserai in the heart of Tbilisi.
