On 26–30 October, the International Relations Department of Caucasus University welcomed representatives from its partner universities as part of the Erasmus+ Staff Mobility for Training programme.

A study by Caucasus University Professor Tengiz Verulava and Dachi Verulava, a student at the University’s School of Medicine, has been published in Clinical Medicine & Research, a U.S.-based international peer-reviewed journal. The article, “Injury Epidemiology in Emergency Departments in Tbilisi, Republic of Georgia: A Multicenter Study,” appears in Volume 24, Issue 3, pages 123–136.

On October 26–27, representatives of Kean University (New Jersey, USA) visited Caucasus University. As part of the visit, a presentation was held to introduce the new joint degree programs offered by the two universities and the international academic opportunities they provide for students.

On October 22, 26, and 27, Caucasus University, in collaboration with the Georgian Psychoanalytic Space Association, hosted a series of seminars dedicated to psychoanalysis and psychopathology.

Professor Eka Akobia, Dean of the School of Governance, has published an article entitled “Why Russia’s War in Ukraine Is Not NATO’s Fault: Popular Realism and the Misattribution of Responsibility” in the international peer-reviewed journal Connections: The Quarterly Journal.

On 26 October, Caucasus University hosted the Fall 2026 final of the Pepe’s Cup football championship on its sports grounds.

On October 22,  UNI4VERSE Internal University Competition  was held at Caucasus University.

During 7-21 October, The Department of International Relations held information meetings for the students of the Caucasus University about the announced exchange programs (Erasmus+/ Bilateral Exchange).

Professor Vakhtang Partsvaniya of Caucasus University’s School of Business has published a new article in Wirtschaftsdienst, a German economic policy journal indexed in Scopus (SCImago Q3) and focused on current economic and social policy debates in Germany and Europe.

A research paper by Tengiz Verulava, Professor at Caucasus University, has been published in the international peer-reviewed scientific journal Dusunen Adam Journal of Psychiatry and Neurological Sciences.

From 5 to 17 October, the DAAD-funded program “AI meets Arts” was successfully implemented within the framework of cooperation between Caucasus University and the University of Applied Sciences Amberg-Weiden (OTH-AW).

On 16-17 October 2026, the First International Symposium of Kartvelian Studies, entitled “Georgia and the World Across the Centuries,” was held in Athens.

The five-day International Learning Experience in Georgia program, hosted by Caucasus University, began on October 12 with the 11th Annual International Conference titled “Education, Science, and Technology for a Sustainable Future.”

The Caucasus Cybersecurity Center and the Scientific Cyber Security Association organized a Cybersecurity League for school students across Georgia. Hosted by Caucasus School of Technology, the league has been held seasonally for many years.
