SCHOOL OF ARCHITECTURE AND DESIGN

The Architecture Program was launched in 2017. Its successful development and high admission rates led to the establishment of a separate academic unit, and in 2021, the School of Architecture and Design was founded.

The School offers the following undergraduate programs:

  • Architecture
  • English-language Architecture
  • Graphic Design
  • English-language Graphic Design
  • Three-year Bachelor’s Program in Interior Design

It should be noted that the Georgian-language Architecture Program combines theoretical and practical courses, the balance of which is essential for shaping students into professional architects. The program is tailored to local regulations and requirements, supporting graduates in both professional practice and employment.

The Georgian-language and English-language Architecture Programs at Caucasus University have been validated by one of the world’s most renowned and prestigious professional associations — the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA). This provides students and graduates with a unique opportunity to receive high-quality education in one of the most in-demand fields and, upon completion of the program, to obtain a diploma recognized in the international market.

The Graphic Design programs are the first three-year undergraduate art programs in Georgia. Their aim is to provide students with an education in graphic design based on fundamental theories and principles related to graphic design, art, and the use of relevant computer programs.

Within the School, there is also a Scientific-Practical Centre for Architecture - an architectural studio - and a Creative Arts Centre - an art and model-making studio - both of which are oriented towards students’ practical and scientific development.
