Caucasus University announces a Call for Facilitators within the framework of the international project VirtuallyEDU 2.0.
VirtuallyEDU 2.0 is a 36-month Virtual Exchange project bringing together young people, educators, and organisations from Europe and neighbouring countries. The project focuses on AI literacy, digital ethics, critical thinking, media literacy, digital skills, and intercultural learning through international virtual exchange activities.
Within the framework of the project, Caucasus University will select 9 facilitators to participate in the Train-the-Trainer Programme and prepare for the facilitation of international Virtual Exchange Labs.

The call is open to Caucasus University academic and administrative staff, educators, trainers, and professionals working with students or young people.
Applicants should demonstrate motivation to participate in the project and an interest in digital education and international learning environments. Relevant experience in teaching, training, facilitation, or youth work will be considered an advantage.
Applicants are expected to have:
- Motivation to engage in AI literacy, digital education, media literacy, and intercultural learning;
- Experience or demonstrated interest in teaching, training, facilitation, or youth work;
- Sufficient digital skills to participate effectively in an online learning environment;
- Good working knowledge of English;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;

- Availability to complete the training programme and subsequently contribute to Virtual Exchange activities.
Previous professional expertise in Artificial Intelligence is not required.
Training and Expected Commitment
Selected participants will take part in the VirtuallyEDU 2.0 Train-theTrainer Programme, combining live online training with asynchronous learning activities.
The programme includes four live online training sessions of 2–3 hours each, covering ethical AI, intercultural and critical dialogue, digital engagement, and practical facilitation techniques for Virtual Exchanges.
Participants will also complete asynchronous activities through the project’s MOOC platform, including discussions, reflection activities, short quizzes, and collaborative exercises.
As part of the training, each participant will conduct a 20–30-minute micro-facilitation session, simulating a Virtual Exchange activity and receiving feedback from trainers and peers.
Successful completion of the programme requires active participation in the training activities, completion of the required assignments, and successful participation in the micro-facilitation exercise.
Following the training, facilitators may be assigned to one or more Virtual Exchange Lab cycles, depending on project needs, availability, and performance.
What Will Participants Gain?
Participants will gain practical experience in international Virtual Exchange facilitation and further develop their digital, communication, intercultural, and facilitation competencies.
Those who successfully complete the Train-the Trainer Programme will receive a Certificate of Completion jointly issued by Metropolitan College and Folkuniversitetet and will be eligible to facilitate Virtual Exchange activities within VirtuallyEDU 2.0.
Selected facilitators may also be nominated to participate in the project’s Validation Workshops.
Selection Process
Candidates will be assessed based on their motivation, relevant experience, English language proficiency, digital skills, communication and intercultural competencies, and availability and commitment to the project.
