Caucasus University Green Tourism Hub Meeting With Stakeholder

On 27 April, within the framework of the Erasmus+ CBHE project ENRICHER Hubs - "Enhancing the Green Tourism Concept through Knowledge", a stakeholder meeting was held between Nato Robitashvili, Affiliated Assistant Professor at the Caucasus Tourism School of Caucasus University and Giorgi Kemertelidze, Chief Specialist at the Tourism Management Centre of the Business School of Ilia State University.

 

During the meeting, the participants discussed mechanisms for promoting green tourism development, the role of higher education institutions in strengthening competencies in sustainable tourism, and opportunities to enhance cooperation within the academic sector.

 

The discussion also focused on current challenges facing the tourism industry, the importance of practice-based learning, and the development of the skills and competencies required to prepare competitive professionals for the tourism sector.

 

As an outcome of the meeting, the participants expressed their willingness to continue collaborating through the exchange of knowledge and experience, the implementation of joint initiatives, and the active engagement of stakeholders in the activities of the Caucasus University Green Tourism Hub established within the ENRICHER Hubs project.
