In 2022, the Jean Monnet Module "EUropeanization of law programs in Georgia" 101084764 — EU-LP-GE) of the Caucasus University (namely the Caucasus Law School) was granted the support from the European Commission. The author of the JM Module is prof. Ekaterine KARDAVA. The JM Module is led by professors Guranda CHELIDZE and Ekaterine Kardava.
Within the framework of the Module, in the spring semester of 2024, a full course of lectures "Association Agreement, Law-Making and Legal Approximation" was launched for students of the Master of Law Education Program. The course is being held for the 2nd year within the framework of the Jean Monnet Module. The course is led and lectures are conducted by prof. Ekaterine Kardava.
In the spring semester of 2024, 42 students registered for the course. The course is compulsory and all master's students take it. The course was divided into two groups. The schedule of lectures is as follows:
- First group (19 students) - Saturday, 09.00-10.55.
- Second group (23 students) - Saturday, 11.15-13.10.
During the course, a total of 13 lectures-seminars (direct contact hours) should be held, each lecture - 2 hours, total - 26 hours, and in both groups - 52 hours. (In general, the course includes 30 hours, which consists of exam period, namely, 2 hours for the midterm exam, 2 hours for the final exam).
The course is conducted according to the agreed and approved syllabus (the syllabus is already uploaded on the website of the Jean Monnet Module).
