The Caucasus University is announcing a call for applications for participation in the Erasmus+ institutional development project - “Acquiring Transversal Competences through Virtual Voyages”.
The project aims to provide students with opportunities for virtual exchange in an international and intercultural learning environment through the e-learning platform thevoyage.eu. The initiative brings together students and facilitators from Romania, Italy, Turkey, Moldova, Georgia, Ukraine, and Armenia to foster intercultural dialogue, active participation, and collaborative learning.
Main responsibilities of facilitators include:
- creating an inclusive and interactive online learning environment;
- supporting student engagement and collaboration;
- facilitating small group discussions and learning activities;
- providing ongoing support to students throughout the learning process;
- fostering the development of intercultural, communication, and digital competences.
The virtual exchange programme includes both synchronous and asynchronous activities. Synchronous sessions will be delivered online, approximately 5 hours per week, over a period of 6–10 weeks (expected timeframe: June–December 2026). Each facilitator will work with a group of 15–20 students. The programme is fully online.
Before the implementation phase, selected facilitators will participate in a dedicated online training programme, which will cover:
- the use of thevoyage.eu platform and digital tools;
- online facilitation methods;
- group dynamics and intercultural communication;
- conflict management;
- non-formal education methods;
- integration of AI and digital tools in the learning process.
The exact dates of the training will be communicated later.
Upon successful completion of both the training and the programme, participants will receive a Youthpass certificate.
Please note that the facilitator training is not remunerated. However, sessions delivered to students within the programme will be compensated based on actual workload, in accordance with the rates defined by the university and Erasmus+ programme standards.
