Erasmus + exchange programs for the spring semester of 2018

Caucasus University is announcing applications for students to participate in the Erasmus+ exchange program of the 2018 Spring Semester.

 

The Erasmus + exchange program for international student mobility involves coverage of travel expenses and issuing scholarships. The amount of the scholarship is determined for the students according to the host country and the university.

 

In the spring semester of 2018, student mobility is planned at the following universities:

To participate in the competition, active students of Caucasus University must submit the following documents in English:

 

  • Copy of ID card / passport
  • Filled in application form (see Appendix # 1)
  • EUROPASS CV (see Appendix # 2) (see Appendix # 3)
  • International Certificate of Foreign Language Proficiency (IELTS - 0; TOEFL-78)
  • Mark sheet;
  • Motivation letter;
  • 1 letter of recommendation from the faculty;
  • Certificate of issue(s) related to economic, social or health condition (if any).

 

Cannot participate in the competition:

 

  • First and last year students of bachelor’s degree;
  • Last year students of master’s degree;
  • Those who have already received the Erasmus Mundus grant at a similar level.

 

The following applications will not be considered:

 

  • Those that do not meet the requirements set out in the Framework Agreement for Participation in the Exchange Program and the Statute of the International Relations Department of Caucasus University;
  • Presented inadequately or unsuitable with requirements;
  • Presented late or gradually.

 

Candidates must submit applications electronically by October 31, 2017 to the following address: ir@cu.edu.ge

 

The candidate must indicate in the subject line of the e-mail the name of the university selected where he/she is applying to. Each document must be titled accordingly. One student can apply to a maximum of three universities.

 

Selection procedure:

 

  • The submitted application documents will be reviewed by the Competition Commission of Caucasus University.
  • The commission will nominate the selected candidates;
  • Providing information / documents on selected candidates to the host university;
  • Final selection of students by the host university;
  • The host university has the right to require a nominated student to take part in an additional internal competition.
