Caucasus University is announcing the application for participation in the project funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research of Germany: "Changing the Perspectives of Media Education and Political Dialogue". The project is open to media and public administration school students and academic/administrative staff.
The aim of the project is to motivate active citizens and organizations so that part of the society can start caring about changing the perspectives of media education and political dialogues in Georgia.
Within the framework of the project, working meetings will be held:
- In Odessa: 24 - 30 August, 2018
- In Kiev: October 39 - November 4, 2018
- In Yerevan: December 3 - 9, 2018
Working groups will be divided into three categories:
- Debate
Participants should assess the situation in Georgia on the following topics.
- Economic indicators
- Relations between Georgia and the European Union/Russia
- Relations with neighboring countries
- Conflicts
- Refugees
- Development of democratic institutions
- The ruling power of civil society
- Freedom of the media
- Blog/photo
Participants should collect photos of the work of the debate group and post them on the Internet blog.
- Audiovisual group
Participants must prepare 2 video reports about the Odessa workshop.
Work language - English
To participate in the competition, you must submit a letter of recommendation from the Dean in English.
The project fully covers transportation, housing and food costs.
The participant must purchase the ticket himself, but upon arrival, the cost will be reimbursed. Under the project, housing and food costs will be covered in advance.
Please note that a ticket for a flight to Odessa costs 200 euros.
