Virtual SDG Action and Awareness Week consist of the following events:
- February 28 - Workshop:Why on Earth Should I Know about Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)?
- March 1 - The Panel: How Do I get to Know about Sustainability? Learning Practices in Koc University
- March 2, 3 -Student Roundtables on the following topics:
Ø The Effect of Climate Change on Tangible Cultural Sustainability (Moderator: Ekin Berk Polat, Guest Speakers: Dr.Işılay Gürsu & Dr. Dinç Saraç)
Ø Economic and Socio-Cultural Effects of Wildfires (Moderator: Deniz Aycan, Guest Speaker: Dr. Ahmet Aydemir)
Ø Breathing and Drinking Microplastics: Fast Fashion (Moderator: Nisa Özer, Guest Speaker: Göknil Bigan, Social Entrepreneur)
Ø How Socio-Cultural Norms shape Gender Inequality around the World (Moderator: Nadeen Aburamadan, Guest Speaker TBA)
Each of these events will be free, online, and held in English. All events will be held at 8 pm Turkish Time Zone (GMT+3).
