On July 26, 2025, a cooperation agreement was signed between Caucasus University and California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB), aiming to further strengthen the existing partnership between the two institutions.
On behalf of Caucasus University, the agreement was signed by the President, Professor Kakha Shengelia, while on behalf of California State University, San Bernardino, it was signed by the President, Professor Tomás D. Morales, who was visiting Caucasus University on an official visit and was awarded the title of Honorary Doctor.
The signing ceremony was attended by members of the University Governing Board, deans, and representatives of the International Relations Department. During the visit, the parties also discussed the next steps to enhance collaboration.
It is noteworthy that the cooperation between Caucasus University and California State University, San Bernardino began in 2023. The newly signed agreement significantly expands the scope of the partnership and will allow students from the Schools of Business, Media, Technology, Architecture, Public Administration, Humanities and Social Sciences, Tourism, and Economics to spend an academic semester or year at the partner university.
California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB) is one of the most distinguished higher education institutions in the United States. Established in 1965, the university currently enrolls more than 20,000 students across over 70 academic programs.
