Public Lecture - Geopolitics of Renewable Energy

On October 23, within the framework of cooperation between Caucasus University and the French-Georgian University, a public lecture was held for the students and academic staff of the caucasus school of economics on the topic - “Geopolitics of Renewable Energy”. 

 

The event was opened with a welcome remark by Ms. Irena Melua, Vice-President for Internationalization at the Caucasus University.

 

Eva Bertrand, representative of the French-Georgian University, also addressed the audience.

 

The lecture was delivered by historian and economist, the lead of the French Development Agency (AFD) and EU agricultural projects - Professor Christophe Cordonnier.

 

The public lecture discussed renewable energy development strategies, which play an important role in the process of developing strategies for both large and developing economies.

 

The lecture was concluded with a summary by Tinatin Giorgadze, Administrative Director of the Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral Programs at the Caucasus School of Economics.

 

It is noteworthy that public lectures are planned in the future within the framework of this cooperation, which will provide students and academic staff of the Caucasus School of Economics with the opportunity to share the experience of distinguished specialists and receive advice based on best practices.
