CU INTERNATIONAL STAFF WEEK 2025 Fall

During the week of September 29 - October 3, Caucasus University hosted the International Staff Week Program, where academic and administrative staff from various partner universities in Europe participated.

 

The program participants received comprehensive information about the university’s mission, internationalization policy and international relations, as well as the activities of the university’s services and departments. In addition, participants had the opportunity to attend sessions on sustainable tourism within the framework of the Enricher Hubs project.

 

Representatives of partner universities had the opportunity to participate in interactive sessions on the following topical topics:

 

  • Methodologies for Initiating and Implementing Joint/Double Degree Programs - Irena Melua, Vice-President for Internationalization at Caucasus University;
  • Student Services and Processes - Guranda Iobashvili and Salome Chachibaia, Managers of the Student Services and Learning Process Monitoring Department;
  • Sharing Best Practices of the “CU Ambassador” Program - Anastasia Gudadze, Manager of the Student and Organizational Events Department.

 

It is noteworthy that within the framework of the week, individual activities were planned for the academic and administrative staff of the universities participating in the program with relevant faculties and departments of Caucasus University. Also, within the framework of the International Week, a visiting lecturer was hosted by Davit Tsiklauri, Lecturer of the Caucasus School of Business. In addition, a meeting was planned for the administrative staff with the Dean of the Medicine School, Mariam Okruashvili, which was attended by the Administrative Director of the School’s Bachelor’s and Master’s Educational Programs, Makuna Amaglobeli. A meeting was also scheduled with the Dean of the School of Architecture and Design, Makuna Menabde. An introductory meeting was held with the Dean of the Law School, Sofio Shengelia. A meeting was also scheduled with the Director of the Foreign Languages ​​Center, Khatuna Basilashvili, and the Head of the German Language Department, Natia Datuashvili and also, an individual meeting was scheduled with representatives of the Department of International Relations.

 

At the end of the International Week program, participating academic and administrative staff were awarded certificates of participation.
