The shift to distance learning, which is one of the most effective ways of combating the COVID-19 pandemic, has led to many challenges for society and the economy.
The paper examines the impact of the pandemic on distance learning from the perspectives of students and teachers. The majority of respondents prefer a hybrid of distance and classroom learning methods because it takes into account the uniqueness of individual subjects as well as the possibility of students' own choices.
As shortcomings, limited communication, technical difficulties, low quality Internet access and malfunctions, and complicated social relationships were mentioned.
