On June 12-16, at the invitation of the head of the English philology program of the Caucasus School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Ketevan Grdzelidze, the assistant professor of the University of Alabama (Birmingham, USA), philologist, writer Joseph Wood visited Caucasus University.
Professor Wood gave a series of lectures on Don Quixote to the students of English Philology. He also met with the administration of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, learned about the specifics of teaching English philology, as well as general information about the school.
Joseph Wood is the author of four prose works and five poetry collections, for which he has received numerous literary prizes and awards. He also actively writes for Boston Review, Denver Quarterly, Gulf Coast, Indiana Review, North American Review, Verse Daily. His lecture courses include world literature, creative writing, and other topical issues of literary studies.
