On November 30, an open lecture on the topic: polysemy and the problem of equivalence in translation was held for English philology students of Caucasus University School of Humanities and Social Sciences. The lecture was led by professor, lexicographer - Tinatin Margalitadze.

The lecture aroused great interest among the students. They were given detailed information on dictionary compilation and management, the use of electronic translation dictionaries, the study of word meaning, the semantic differences between languages, and the dangerous processes occurring in the Georgian language due to the influence of the English language.

The lecture was held in interactive mode.
