Guest Hour - Course - Sociology of Education

On May 29, 2024, at the initiative of Mariam Jinchveleishvili, a guest lecturer at the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, second-year sociology students in the "Sociology of Education" course were visited by Davit Tsiramua, Master of Education Administration from Ilia State University and MBA (Finance) from Caucasus School of Business.

 

Currently, Mr. Davit Tsiramua serves as an adviser to the rector of the Black Sea International University. He has previously held positions as the head of administration at the British University in Georgia and as the deputy head of the student affairs department at Ilia State University. Additionally, Mr. Davit has been an expert on accreditation and authorization for the National Center for Education Quality Enhancement.

 

Lecture topic: New Educational Paradigms.

 

Mr. Tsiramua spoke about new and old educational paradigms, institutional challenges, recommendations and development perspectives.

 

A discussion was held at the end of the lecture.
