On October 17-19, the II International Linguistic-Anthropological Congress of Caucasologists was held at Tbilisi State University, which consisted of several sections: Linguistics; cross-disciplinary linguistic studies; Literacy and philology.
Fifty-seven foreigners and about seventy Georgian scientists took part in the work of the congress. Professor Mariam Manjgaladze of the Caucasus School of Humanities and Social Sciences read the report - Topics related to the function of the Georgian language in the newspapers "Ertoba" and "Saqartvelo." (1918-1921). The topic of the report turned out to be interesting and valuable for the listeners and was positively evaluated.
