On May 5, the School of Humanities and Social Sciences at Caucasus University hosted an informational meeting for prospective students interested in psychology.
During the meeting, participants explored a range of key topics, including:
- Why we feel, think, and behave differently;
• How the brain works and how it influences human behavior;
• “Myths vs. Reality” — what psychologists actually do;
• How psychology is taught at Caucasus University;
• Career opportunities in the field of psychology.
Prospective students also had the opportunity to experience the role of a psychologist through an interactive activity.
The meeting was led by neuropsychologist Maya Machavariani, Associate Professor at the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Academic Head of the Georgian-language and English-language Bachelor’s Degree Programs in Psychology.
