On February 5, 2024, the Technical University of Georgia hosted an international scientific conference titled "The Road from Ancient Civilizations to Modernity," dedicated to the memory of Nana Khazaradze, an academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Georgia and a renowned historian who served as the chairman of the Ekvtime Takaishvili Historical Society.

During the plenary session, the significant contributions and achievements of Nana Khazaradze, both within the National Academy of Sciences of Georgia and at the Technical University, were thoroughly discussed and acknowledged.

The international scientific conference "The Road from Ancient Civilizations to Modernity" comprised of three sections, featuring approximately 60 papers for discussion. Among them, Caucasus University professor Elisabet Machitidze presented the report titled "About the Turkish author Omer Subashi Gurji Khatun." Towards the conclusion of the event, certificates were awarded to the participants of the conference in recognition of their contributions.
