11 October 2023

On October 6, Davit Natroshvili, the dean of the Caucasus School of Humanities and Social Sciences (CSH), and Soso Dolidze, psychologist, assistant professor at CSH, took part in an international conference at Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University in Telavi. The conference focused on addressing the issues of mental health and the well-being of university students.

The conference was organized as part of the European Union-funded ERASMUS+ CBHE institutional development project called "Establishment of Psychological Counselling Centers at Georgian HEIs for Students (E-PSY)."

The goal of the project is to set up psychological counseling centers for students within Georgia's higher educational institutions, including Caucasus University. Additionally, the project aims to create official documents that can be presented to decision-makers (representatives of the Georgian government and the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia) in order to increase public awareness about mental health and emphasize the significance of providing psychological counseling services to students in Georgian higher education institutions.
