An Innovative Approach to Creating Post-Quantum Digital Signature Schemes

The primary objective of the project is to design a new digital signature scheme capable of protecting against attacks on quantum computers while maintaining effectiveness. The outcomes of this research will be significant for various groups of professionals, including cyber security experts, applied cryptographers, mathematicians specializing in cryptography, mathematical modeling specialists, and computer science experts. Additionally, the findings may attract interest from lawyers and political science professionals engaged in the realm of cyber security. The project spans two years, with a budget of 140,000 GEL.

The project is funded through the 2022 state scientific grant competition for STEM interdisciplinary research by the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia. The project is led by Maksim Iavich.
