Caucasus University, Caucasus School of Law (CSL) is announcing a competition for the position of Associate Professor (5 Vacancies), and Assistant- Professor (2 Vacancies) in the following fields:

 

  • Private Law (1 vacancy)
  • International Private Law (1 vacancy)
  • Public Law (2 vacancy)
  • Criminal law (3 vacancies)

 

Associate Professor

 

  • Private Law (1 vacancy)

Assistant Professor

  • Criminal Law (1 vacancy)

 

Qualification requirements: 

 

for an Associate Professor

A person with a doctoral degree in the relevant field or an equivalent degree with at least 3 years of scientific-pedagogical work will be selected as an Associate Professor for a term of 3 years.

 

for an assistant professor

A person with a doctorate or an equivalent academic degree in the relevant field will be selected as an assistant professor for a term of 3 years and at least 2 years of practical experience in the relevant field

 

A qualified person with a professional mark may be elected to the position of Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor. In this case, the qualification of the person can be confirmed by professional experience, special training and/or publications. A person who has the necessary competence to produce the learning outcomes provided by the program is considered to have the relevant qualification.

Interested parties should submit:

 

  • Resume in Georgian and English (CV - include information on teaching and research)
  • A copy of the identity document;
  • Copies of education (qualification and academic degree) documentation (doctoral / master's / bachelor's degree or equivalent academic degree), in case of doctoral students - certificate of doctoral program;
  • Documentation required for authentication in the case of overseas quality protection;
  • Certificate of scientific-pedagogical activity and information on the workload in other HEIs during the last year;
  • Candidate/PhD and Master’s Thesis Information (Topic Title, Field, Direction);
  • Complete information on articles, books, monographs or other scientific work, including: title, place of publication, date, number of pages and name of publisher, as well as copies of the outer cover (for the purpose of competition, publications of the last 5 years are particularly important);
  • Certificates, awards and other documents;
  • Other documentation corresponding to the criteria established for the purpose of holding an academic / scientific position, documents certifying professional experience. 

 

The competition will be held in three stages:

 

Stage I - Sorting of submitted documents;

Stage II - Presentation/Interview;

Stage III - Summary of the competition.

 

Caucasus University reserves the right to verify the information you provide and only selected candidates who will pass the first stage successfully will be contacted at the second stage of the competition.

 

Announcement Date: April 03, 2021.

Submissions: May 04, 2021 – May  09, 2021.

Competition period: May 2021.

Place of competition: Tbilisi, Paata Saakadze # 1

Period of publication of the results of the competition: May 2021.
