The Research Promotion Department of Caucasus University is announcing a vacancy for the position of Research Promotion Department Manager.
Job responsibilities:
- Collect and process information on academic staff's scientific publications.
- Support the development and implementation of the university’s research policy.
- Assess and evaluate publications based on university-defined rankings.
- Be involved in issues related to the publication of the university's scientific journals.
- Enter and manage research-related data in the university’s electronic database.
- Organize and oversee internal school scientific student conferences.
- Contribute to the organization of the university’s annual international conference.
- Disseminate information on scientific research events.
- Share details about internal university research grants.
- Assist in preparing the department’s annual activity report.
- Participate in the authorization and accreditation process within the scope of responsibilities.
- To effectively manage departmental activities, assist in carrying out the responsibilities of the Department Director or the Vice President for Research and Strategic Development concerning relevant projects.
Qualification requirements:
- Higher education, in business administration, social and political sciences or related fields;
- At least 1 (one) year of work experience (experience in a higher educational institution or international organization is preferred);
- High level of English language knowledge
- Knowledge of computer programs: MS Office, MS Excel, PowerPoint;

Working conditions:
- Work schedule: from Monday to Saturday (Saturday is a short working day, the need for the mentioned day(s) is determined by agreement with the management);
- Trial period: 3 months (paid)
- Salary: GEL 1500 (net)
