The history of Caucasus University begins in 1998, with the creation of the Caucasus School of Business.

Caucasus University consists of schools of business, law, media, technology, architecture and design, governance, humanities and social sciences, tourism, medicine and healthcare management, economics, education.

 

Caucasus University, Caucasus School of Medicine and Healthcare Management (CMS) announces a competition for the position of Professor (2 vacancies) in the following direction

 

  • Public health care (2 vacancies).

 

Qualification requirements:

 

For a Professor

 

  1. A person with a PhD or an equivalent academic degree in the relevant field, who has at least 6 years of scientific-pedagogical work experience, will be elected as a professor for a period of 7 years.

 

A qualified person with a professional mark may be elected to the position of Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor. In this case, the qualification of the person can be confirmed by professional experience, special training and/or publications. A person with the necessary competence to produce the learning outcomes provided by the program is considered to have the relevant qualification.

Interested parties should submit:

 

  • Resume in Georgian and English (CV - include information about teaching and scientific work);
  • Copy of identity documentation;
  • Copies of education documentation (qualification and academic degree; doctoral/master/bachelor's degree or equivalent academic degree); for PhD students - certificate confirming PhD studies;
  • Necessary documentation for verification in the event that a defense of a thesis was conducted abroad;
  • Certificate of scientific-pedagogical activity and information on the workload in other HEIs during the last year;
  • Information on the candidate/PhD and master thesis topic (topic title, field, direction);
  • Complete information about articles, books, monographs or other scientific works, including: title of the paper, place of publication, date, number of pages and title of the publisher, as well as copies of the outer cover of the work (for the purposes of the competition, the data available during the last 5 (five) years is especially important (if any);
  • Certificates, awards and other documents;
  • Other documents relevant to the criteria established for the purpose of holding an academic / scientific position, documents certifying professional experience;

 

 

The competition will be held in three stages:

Stage I - Selection of submitted documents

Stage II - Presentation/interview

Stage III - Summary of the competition.

 

 

Date of announcement of the competition: April 26, 2023;

Acceptance of documents: from May 26, 2023 to May 30, 2023;

The period of the competition is May 2023

Venue of the competition: Tbilisi City, Paata Saakadze #1;

Result publication period: May-June 2023
