Caucasus University Bookstore announces a vacancy for a Store Manager.

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Establishing and maintaining contact with publishers, selecting them, and acquiring/updating the required book collection and electronic resources;
  • Providing consultations and recommendations to customers visiting the bookstore;
  • Maintaining order and organization within the bookstore;
  • Ensuring the availability and offering of books from various genres, both fiction and non-fiction, according to customer needs;
  • Coordinating and collaborating with the University’s Publishing House;
  • Conducting periodic inventory and accounting of existing resources and monitoring stock levels;
  • Preparing reports on activities carried out;
  • Performing other duties assigned by the supervisor.

 

Qualifications and Requirements:

 

  • Higher education or being a final-year university student;
  • Proficiency in English;
  • Experience working with electronic information and search resources;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs: MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook;
  • Previous experience in a similar position will be considered an advantage.

 

Working Conditions:

 

  • Working schedule: Monday through Saturday (two Saturdays per month, with reduced working hours);
  • Salary: GEL 1,000 (net);
  • Probationary period: 6 months (fully paid).
