Table Game of the Knight in the Panther's Skin

On December 22, to commemorate 850th anniversary of great Georgian poet, Shota Rustaveli, the Caucasus University held a Table Game of The Knight in the Panther's Skin created by a young Georgian scientist.

 

The game is broken down into three parts:  

 

First level – What? When? Where? Game on the Knight in the Panther's Skin (Duration - 40 minutes)

 

Second level - "Puzzle-Lotto of Aphorisms” (Duration - 40 minutes)

 

The third level was held in two parts:

 

The first part involves a table game of the KPS; the map represents the geographical world of the KPS and its plot. The game is played with dice and the characters are moved from one spot to another.

Three teams participated in the second and consequently won the first, the second and the third places.

 

The winner teams were awarded:

 

The first place - 500 GEL voucher; Team “the Pearls” (Christine Charkviani CST; Nodar Pruidze CST)

 

The second place - 300 GEL voucher; Team “Point+” (Guga Nemsveridze CST, Mariam Charkviani CST)

 

The third place - 200 GEL voucher. – Team “Lionheart” (Rusudan Gabriadze CHS, Giorgi Koshkadze, CST)

 

All the three winner teams were awarded the first edition of the table game - "The Knight in the Panther's Skin". All the participating teams were awarded calendars and certificates of the game. The moderator was the game’s author Levan Gelashvili; the students were assisted by members of the organizational group, instructors of the Caucasus University: Natia Putkaradze, Nikoloz Shamugia, Khatia Jangavadze and Zurab Baratashvili.

 

The project, which is a team game in which any CU student can participate, is implemented by "Orbeliani Georgia" with financial support of the Swedish Embassy and the Foundation "Iavnana".
