Program Structure

Master’s Program in Clinical Psychology of the Caucasus School of Humanities comprises 120 ECTS credits. 60 ECTS per year, 30 ECTS per semester. The standard duration of the Master’s program is two years (acceptable duration is five academic years). Each academic year consists of two semesters, each of which comprises 19 weeks (21 weeks in the case of retaking any of the exams). Correspondingly, an academic year is scheduled for 38 weeks (42 weeks in the case of additional examination).

 

One ECTS equals to 25 Credit hours, which includes contact hours (lectures, seminars, practical work etc.) as well as hours for independent work. Independent work includes preparation for midterm and final examinations, homework assignments and presentations.

 

100 ECTS out of 120 ECTS are allocated to field and professional mandatory courses and a research component, while 20 ECTS is for field and professional competencies.
