Understanding Customer Behavior and Boosting Online Sales

5 October 2026

On October 5 at 5:00 p.m., Caucasus University’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center will host a hands-on workshop on understanding customer behavior and increasing online sales.

In today’s digital landscape, businesses invest considerable resources in attracting customers’ attention. But capturing attention and generating interest do not automatically lead to a purchase, registration, booking, or other desired outcome.

This workshop will help students understand what happens after that initial interest: what prevents people from taking the next step, and how successful businesses use data to make better decisions.

Who is the workshop for?

The workshop is open to students interested in:

  • Marketing: Understanding customer engagement and how interest translates into action.
  • Business administration: Exploring how digital solutions affect business performance.
  • Entrepreneurship and startups: Identifying barriers, improving the user experience (UX), and developing products.

What will you learn?

  • What drives customer decisions: The role of trust, simplicity, clarity, perceived value, and price.
  • How to identify barriers: Why interested customers leave before completing a purchase or other action.
  • How to use a data-driven approach: How businesses observe and learn from actual customer behavior.
  • How to apply these insights: A group exercise analyzing real-world e-commerce and digital product scenarios and proposing improvements.
  • How modern tools support better decisions: An introduction to A/B testing, segmentation, and experiment design using the Asmos platform.

Workshop speaker

Saba Arudashvili - Co-founder and CEO of Klics and Asmos, a winner of CUnicorn, the pre-acceleration program run by Caucasus University’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center, and a mentor in the program.

An additional opportunity for participants

Student teams and individual participants who are working on - or planning - e-commerce or startup projects will have the opportunity to receive free access to Asmos, along with an introductory Q&A and setup session with the founders.

The workshop will take place in Room A5 at Caucasus University.
