On April 6, a simulated criminal trial will be conducted for prospective students in the simulated courtroom of Caucasus University. The trial will be held in two stages.
On March 31st at 13:00, the following topics will be discussed:
- Process structure
- Roles of the prosecutor, lawyer, and witness
- Interrogation techniques
- Techniques for setting up motions
- Specifics of speech during the legal process
- Consultation with practicing lawyers;
- Distribution of roles and work on case materials with mentors and team;
On April 6th at 10:00, the final stage of the mock trial will take place in the courtroom of Caucasus University.
Participants will have the opportunity to work on the case of "Manana Papava," a modified version of Magda Papidze's case.
The project will be led by Caucasus University students: Liza Matikashvili, Medea Lomitashvili, and Giorgi Ghurchumelia.
Certificates of participation will be awarded to all participants.
