Writer's Day: Otar Chiladze's Work

On April 8th, at 16:00, the Caucasus University Library will be hosting an event titled "Writer's Day - Otar Chiladze's Work." This event will be chaired by Doctor of Philology, Ada Nemsadze.

 

The event will delve into the main concepts of Otar Chiladze's prose, focusing on his authorial artistic system, which grapples with the theme of survival. The invited researcher will analyze the writer's views on survival, the primary mission of humanity, and worldly duty as portrayed in various novels, finding the common thread that runs through Chiladze's works. Additionally, the discussion will address issues related to personal, national, and social identity, emphasizing their significance in shaping individual personalities.

 

Writer's Day is celebrated as part of the "I love Georgian - My State Language" project (author - Professor Mariam Manjgaladze) at Caucasus University. This initiative, aims to promote and study Georgian as the state language, as well as Georgian languages and dialects.
