On November 21, Caucasus University ombudsman held trainings with students. Ms. Salome Kutchukhidze held a presentation in her office for students where she introduced them to the specifics of her work.
The students learned about why the involvement of the ombudsman is important in the university, how to contact her, what work she has to perform and how the areas of student counseling and assistance are determined.
The ombudsman’s office is to consult, help, protect their interests and rights, expose the facts of their violations, and help restore the violated rights of Caucasus University students; it was created in association with European partners as well as the grant program AESOP (Advocacy Establishment for Students through Ombudsman Position).
The training was held in the frame of Erasmus+ CBHE Project: “Advocacy Establishment for Students through Ombudsman Position” (AESOP) funded by the European Union.
