On November 7, the final event of the "Gastronomical Bootcamp" project was held in the Caucasus University bookstore "Librarea".
Within the framework of Gastronomical Bootcamp, the best chefs selected in the first stream of the project, from November 1 to 4, will conduct trainings for the participants of the second stream in two directions:
- Gastronomic trends and avant-garde techniques led by chefs Soso Jabanashvili and Irakli Todadze;
- Creativity and serving - Ana Ishkhanova and Aleksandre Baindurashvili.
The attendees received certificates at the event attesting to their involvement in the Gastronomical Bootcamp. Additionally, during the meeting, the chefs and the participants exchanged opinions about the project and the outcomes of the trainings.
Maia Mushkudiani, the sales manager of the Caucasus University Training Center, and Tamriko Sikharulidze, the chairman of the board of the Georgian Gastronomic Tourism Business Association, presided over the final event.
The trainings were delivered by Caucasus University in collaboration with the USAID Industry-led Skills Development Program, the Basque Culinary Center, and the Gastronomic Tourism Business Association. The host of the trainings was the Pastry School "Tamtini“.
It should be noted that Caucasus University and the Basque Culinary Center have a strategic partnership through which the Caucasus University Academy of Gastronomu will be established in Kakheti, specifically in Gurjaani, in 2024.
