We would like to inform you that the European Commission has announced a competition for project applications "Specific Grant Agreement European Low-Power Microprocessor Technologies 2020" within the framework of the Horizon 2020 program.

The subject of the project application should be the following:

• Development of second generation low energy general purpose processing system equipment;
• Development of second generation low energy processing system units to accelerate application;
• Certification of the first generation of developed low energy processing system equipment;
• Support for hardware and software development platform that differs between different processor and accelerator types.

Project applications should describe how the project activities contribute to the project, as well as how the project activities will affect the outcome and how measurable it will be. If necessary, the project application should consider seeking synergies and co-financing from relevant national or regional research and innovation programs, including structural funds, which will be directed to the so-called "smart" specialization.

The budget for the project is 35 million euros. The duration of the project should be up to 3 years.

The deadline for submission of project applications is January 12, 2021 (17:00 Brussels time).
