In-house Training on Research Ethics for
Academic Staff and Students of Caucasus University
On March 18th-19th, Tamar Chokoraia, Head of the Academic Writing Center of the Caucasus University, Diana Mchedlishvili, Head of the Quality Assurance Department and Nino Popiashvili, Professor conducted a three-hour training on research ethics for Academic and administrative staff, as well as for Master’s and Ph.D. students. The first day was held for academic and administrative staff and the second day for Master and Ph.D students, conducted via the Zoom platform.
The training covered the following topics: the European Code of Conduct, the challenges related to AI, the role of the ethics committees, research culture, strategies of preventing and managing unethical behavior, authorship and publication ethics.
The training session was organized in the framework of the EU funded Erasmus + CBHE Strand 3 project titled “Responsible Conduct of Research – Research Integrity and Ethics in Georgian Universities (ETHICS)”.
