Lecture by Prof Bernardo Fazendeiro from the University of Coimbra - as part of the Jean Monnet Chair EU PPS

Bernardo Fazendeiro, researcher at the Centre for Social Studies and an asssitant professor in International Relations  of the University of Coimbra (Portugal), visited Caucasus University as part of the ERASMUS+ academic mobility programme. His research interests include international relations theory, armed conflict and former Soviet space.

 

Prof. Bernardo Fazendeiro delivered a series of lectures to students enrolled in the European Studies bachelore programme at the School of Humanities and Social Sciences. With Prof. Guranda Tchelidze from the Jean Monnet Chair “European Union for Peace, Prosperity and Security” (EU-PPS) at the same university, he also participated  and delivered a lecture to students on the Russian-Ukrainian war and contemporary international challenges in Europe and the world. This lecture formed part of the course “EU Eastward Enlargement”. The lecture was interactive, students had the opportunity to ask questions and receive answers to issues of interest to them.
