Meeting with Geoeco Consulting

13 May 2026

As part of the Erasmus+ CBHE project ENRICHER Hubs - “Designing Green Tourism Concept through Learning”, the second stakeholder meeting was held on May 13, 2026, with Geoeco Consulting, a consulting company, which provides consulting and mentoring services for tourism businesses and is actively involved in tourism research, product development, and regional tourism planning. The organization also maintains strong connections with tourism industry representatives across Georgia.

During the meeting, company representatives emphasized the importance of cooperation between educational institutions and the tourism industry. They noted that students could become a valuable resource for future projects and practical activities implemented through the Green Tourism Hub.

Participants also discussed the current lack of qualified professionals in the tourism sector, particularly in areas such as tourism research, product development, and business consulting. In this context, they highlighted that the Green Tourism Hub could play an important role by offering such services and helping bridge the gap between academia and industry needs.

Additionally, Geoeco Consulting expressed interest in sharing international best practices and successful case studies from abroad to support the development of innovative and sustainable tourism initiatives in Georgia.
