SECOND ONLINE SEMINAR WITHIN THE PROJECT MEDIA DIALOGUE 2021 FOR CONFLICT SENSITIVITY AND RESEARCH

On 27 October, in the framework of project Media Dialogue 2021 for Conflict Sensitivity and Research was held second online seminar Current (media) situation in Moldova and Ukraine.

 

The project aims to promote democratic societies by strengthening collaboration with professional journalists, academics and students.

 

Speakers from civil society organizations and journalists' associations in Moldova and Ukraine spoke about the role of the media, including propaganda and fake news, in post-election political and conflict situations. Caucasus School of Governance and Caucasus School of Media students participated in the online seminar.

 

The final part of the online seminar was interactive. The participants had the opportunity to express their positions about the conflicts in Georgia , Ukraine and in Karabakh, also the role of Media in  strengthening democracy.

 

The project is funded by the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs and organized by OK-TV Ludwigshafen a partner of Caucasus University. The project involves civil society organizations, journalisic associations, Higher Educational Institutions, etc. From Germany, Georgia, Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova and Armenia.
