Mini-Lectures for BA LAW students within the Jean Monnet Module Spring Semester, 2025

As part of the Erasmus+ Jean Monnet Module "Europeanization of Law Programs in Georgia" (101084764 — EU-LP-GE), Spring mini-lectures sessions were held with BA LAW program’s students at the Caucasus University on March 19 and 20, 2025.

 

During the Spring Semester of 2025, professors Ekaterine Kardava and Guranda Tchelidze delivered lectures on "EU Law and EU Policy" for students registered in the Georgian Constitutional Law course. A total of 47 students attended the lectures on both days.

 

The lectures covered topics of particular relevance in Georgia today, including:

 

  • The essence of the European Union – what the EU is;
  • The ongoing EU enlargement process and its core values;
  • The essence of European integration and Georgia’s path toward the EU;
  • Georgia and the European Union today – challenges, issues, facts, events, and key dates;
  • The significance, purpose, and objectives of Article 78 of the Constitution of Georgia.
