The second session of the EU-funded project “Empowering Women in Cybersecurity through EU Experience” has successfully commenced at Caucasus University, in partnership with the Scientific Cyber Security Association. The project is implemented within the framework of a Jean Monnet Module.
The primary objective of the project is to enhance the quality of women’s IT education in the fields of cybersecurity and data protection by applying European Union best practices and fostering stronger communication between academia and society. Participation in the project is fully free of charge.
Through the WISEC Academy, the study of European experience and the training of diverse target groups will contribute to achieving sustainable outcomes at multiple levels and support a comprehensive approach to addressing cybersecurity challenges in Georgia. The development of an educational program for women in cybersecurity and data protection is considered a crucial step toward improving the current national landscape.
The project is led by Maksim Iavich, Director of Caucasus Cyber Security Center, Professor, and President of SCSA.
