The First Certificate Course on Research Ethics and Integrity

The first intensive certificate course on research ethics and integrity started on February 28, 2025, and was completed on March 18.

 

The course was conducted online via Zoom and Moodle platforms and was led by Tamar Chokoraia, Associate Professor at Caucasus University and Head of the Academic Writing Center. The course was designed for doctoral students and academic staff.

 

Participants explored key topics essential for research, including research ethics and integrity issues, research ethics frameworks and regulations, procedures for conducting research ethically, ethics in scientific publications, and more.

 

The course aimed to raise awareness of research ethics and integrity in Georgian universities and to promote and support ethical research practices.

 

The certificate course was funded by the European Commission within the framework of the project – “Responsible Conduct of Research – Research Integrity and Ethics in Georgian Universities (ETHICS). ”
