Jean Monnet Project “Triangle Effect of European Studies at Schools” (TEESS) - Experts meeting

On the 22nd of July, 2020 a ZOOM-meeting was held among the experts of the project “Triangle Effect of European Studies at schools” (TEESS). Two main topics were discussed during the meeting:

 

  • About the change of activities performed in the agenda in the frames of the project due to the pandemic situation
  • The plan of activities to be carried out in schools in 2020/2021 academic year

 

At the meeting there was discussed the activities performed since March 17, 2020, related to the preparation of school complementary textbook. The project experts finished working on textbook. They exchanged their opinions regarding editing the paperwork and decided to submit the textbook to the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Georgia for further editing and approval at the beginning of the 2020/2021 academic year.

 

As for the planned workshops in schools, considering the current situation, it was noted, that the educational process in schools will resume on September 15th, 2020, therefore, the educational resource centers are already planning the educational process.

 

The negotiations are being carried out with the Educational Resource Centers of the Ethnic Minority Regions to conduct workshops in accordance with regulations set by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports.

 

The project team hopes that the Academic year will begin in accordance with the elaborated plan and the workshops will be held at schools without any delay.
