VirtuallyEDU 2.0 is a 36-month Virtual Exchange project focused on empowering young people through AI literacy, digital skills, civic engagement, digital inclusion, and intercultural learning.
As artificial intelligence becomes an increasingly important part of everyday life, young people need not only technical skills, but also the ability to think critically, recognise digital misinformation, understand the opportunities and challenges of the digital environment, and use AI responsibly.
VirtuallyEDU 2.0 addresses these needs through innovative online activities that promote AI and media literacy, digital awareness, civic engagement, and intercultural communication.
The project brings together universities and youth organisations across Europe and aims to engage more than 2,500 participants and train 60 facilitators.
By 2029, the project aims to contribute to a generation of young people who are confident in navigating the digital world, equipped with relevant knowledge and skills, and prepared to participate actively and responsibly in an increasingly digital society.
Strengthening AI literacy among young people today contributes to building more informed, resilient, and digitally capable communities for the future.
Stay tuned for updates on VirtuallyEDU 2.0 and its upcoming activities!
