The European Commission Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) in Brussels organized 2019 Jean Monnet Coordinator’s Conference Kick-off meeting on the 18th of November, 2019.
Caucasus University was represented by Affiliate Professor Guranda Tchelidze, the coordinator of 611026-EPP-1-2019-1-GEEPPJMO-PROJECT Project “Triangle Effect of European Studies at Schools” (TEESS).
The Executive Agency's Jean Monnet team hosted information sessions, offering support and guidance on operational and financial aspects in projects activities in order to facilitate the implementation of the projects. During the meeting was discussed several important issues for the development of modern Europe, in which Jean Monnet 2019 beneficiaries exchanged their views and positions. Plans for future cooperation and synergies in different areas were outlined.
In the frames of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Jean Monnet Activities, a conference on "European Studies in the Digital Age" was held on the 19th of November. Conference supported the development of digital competences through education, one of the key priorities of the new European Commission. The conference included panel discussions about teaching Europe in the digital age, Jean Monnet projects on digital research, The European Commission’s Digital Education Action Plan as well as socio-economic and legal implications.
