The PROVE Project focuses on "Promoting Values Education in South Caucasus Higher Education Institutions" as a strategic initiative under the Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) program. The project aims to integrate values education into the higher education systems across the South Caucasus region, helping foster inclusive, ethical, and responsible societies.
The key objectives of the PROVE project are to develop curricula, enhance institutional capacities, promote regional cooperation, and empower students and faculty to act as ethical leaders and change agents. By embedding values-based education into higher education, the project aspires to address social challenges, including diversity, equity, and ethical leadership.
Project Goals and Objectives:
- Integrating Values Education into Higher Education
Develop curricula and teaching methodologies that embed universal values, ethical reasoning, and social responsibility within academic programs. - Enhancing Institutional Capacities
Strengthen the institutional capacities of South Caucasus universities, enabling them to effectively and sustainably deliver values education. - Promoting Regional Cooperation
Foster collaboration among higher education institutions in South Caucasus and the EU to address shared societal challenges through values-based education. - Fostering Societal Impact
Empower students and faculty with the necessary tools to act as ethical leaders and change agents in their communities.
Expected Outcomes:
- New or revised curricula that incorporate principles of values education.
- Enhanced competencies among faculty members in delivering values-based education.
- Strengthened partnerships and networks between participating institutions.
- Increased student awareness and commitment to ethical and inclusive practices.
- A sustainable framework for integrating values education across partner institutions in the South Caucasus region.
